Activities
After-School Activities & Youth Programs in BerlinPrime Youth offers English-language extracurricular activities, creative workshops, sports programs, science clubs, and holiday camps for children and youth in Berlin. Our programs help students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills through engaging hands-on experiences.

Tabletop Role Playing Games
We familiarize students with all the key components of TTRPGs (Table Top Role Playing Games); world-building, character creation, teamwork, improvisation, problem-solving, collaborative storytelling and play. Students craft a unique fantasy world where characters work together through a series of adventures to achieve a shared goal. Students learn through failure and success, and ultimately a great story is made up of both.

Young Chef
Young Chef is open from Kindergarten to grade 6. Participants will experience hands-on cooking, which emphasizes healthy, delicious food made using mainly fresh produce. We will explore simple cooking techniques and make 1-3 dishes each session, depending on the level of difficulty. Through the fun of cooking, children are encouraged to taste new flavors and textures that food has to offer, and hopefully expand their palate for healthy good eats.

Plant & Gardening Lab
Growing Green: Terrariums, Hydroponics & Floral Design Students cultivate both
plants and patience through weekly hands-on projects—building self-sustaining
terrariums, experimenting with hydroponic systems, and creating seasonal floral
arrangements while learning plant biology and sustainable growing practices. Each child takes home living creations that grow with them, fostering responsibility and
connecting them to the natural world in tangible, beautiful ways.

Puppet Theatre
Puppet Theatre offers a unique and fun experience for kids to use their creativity in storytelling through puppets! Using recycled and reclaimed materials, they'll make their own puppets, be it a shadow, hand or recycled puppet. The workshop encourages hands-on learning, allowing kids to explore different techniques like sewing and hot glue gun usage. Join us for a fun, silly and memorable experience!

Theatre Club
We will lead a fun-filled creative movement lesson exploring singing, acting and dancing! Sessions will consist of learning the basics of choreography, voice-control and getting into character! The program aims to build confidence in the students while giving them a space to express themselves and have fun!

DJ & Music
Dive into the world of DJ culture as students explore hands-on projects, collaborative challenges, and the fundamentals of DJing from experienced DJs. From designing DJ logos and album covers to delving into the DJ setups, participants will find their own ways on how to rock a party. Engaging STEM activities include remixing tunes, experimenting with music production software, and learning about different DJ music genres. *Participants will use real DJ equipment and software (Pioneer USB DJ controllers) and are encouraged to bring their own smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Minecraft & Coding
Minecraft Education Edition is a classroom-friendly version of Minecraft that promotes collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. Students can work together on projects, learn coding through Code Connection, and explore subjects like math, science, and history in an interactive way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ7AcvbebKo

● Write names on a canvas. Start thinking about community project pieces.
● Learning to work as a group
● Collective creation of a piece for their school representing their student body and values.
● Complete large scale piece on wall or canvas

Chess Club
Our sessions are tailored to cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Through interactive lessons, fun puzzles, and friendly matches, children will develop critical thinking skills, strategic planning abilities, and enhance their concentration—all while having a blast!

Science Club
We introduce the scientific method by conducting fun experiments and activities! Kids will develop a love of science and receive the confidence to continue studying science further up their schooling. Activities are aimed at children aged 9 to 11 and are designed to capture their imagination and to spark a love of hands-on practical science, using simple household materials.

Organic Arts
Children will be encouraged to use their imagination, learn new skills, and get creative with the objects that are around them. In addition to having a lot of fun creating with traditional tools, children will also explore ideas for inventing their own art supplies, using nature as a source. These tools will then be used to draw, paint, decorate, and craft figures & accessories. Together, we will discover what nature has to offer from colors and textures, and what can be recycled and used to make wonderful creations. With some experimentation and an understanding that fun is fundamental to learning, this workshop will increase their appreciation for the arts, crafts, and natural landscape.
