Minecraft & Coding

Game-based learning · coding · design
More than just building. Students use Minecraft Education to tackle real-world challenges, collaborate on group projects, and build structures with real constraints and goals. Coding is built in: students use in-game programming tools to automate builds, solve logic puzzles, and think computationally. Younger Explorers focus on creative design and teamwork; older students move on to coded builds.

Learning objective: By the end of the programme, students will have planned and built a complete themed project, completed at least one coded build using in-game programming tools, and be able to explain the design and systems thinking behind their work.

Now running at Berlin Metropolitan School for Grades 1–6 (Explorers and Coding groups). BMS families sign up through the school's club registration.
