Puppet Theatre

Craft · storytelling · imagination
Students design and build their own puppets from recycled and reclaimed materials, whether shadow puppets, hand puppets, or sock creatures with real character. Techniques include sewing, hot glue construction, and basic prop-making. The making is hands-on and creative; the performing is even better. Silly, memorable, and genuinely fun.

Learning objective: By the end of the programme, students will have built at least two puppets using different materials and techniques, and performed a short scripted or improvised story with their characters in front of the group.

Now running at Berlin International School.
